Do you enjoy working in the agricultural industry? Essential Personnel is seeking a enthusiastic candidate to fill Greenhouse Technician/ Planting Team Assistant position in Des Moines, IA. This would be 1st shift position 7:30 am to 4pm

Responsibilities for the Greenhouse technician:

• Filling flats and pots with substrate

• Planting seeds into flats and pots

• Transplanting plants into flats and pots

• Moving carts of plants in and out of greenhouses

• Using a pallet jack to move pallets of substrate

• Printing tags at the tag printing station

• Driving company van from one building to another (1-2 times per week)
  
  

Qualifications for the Greenhouse technician:

•  Excellent communication skills and ability to cooperate with other team members.

• Excellent personal interaction skills to promote a positive working environment.

• Proficient with computer tools like Excel and Microsoft.

• High attention to detail and the ability to work with accuracy in a timely manner.

•  Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Valid driver s license

Bonus Structure: $500 paid after 6 months, $1,000 paid after 12 months (repeats every year worker stays onsite)
