Do you love working with animals and spending time outdoors? We re looking for a Livestock Handler to join our team as an Assistant Herdsman. In this role, you ll help care for and monitor the daily well-being of our cattle, ensuring they re healthy, safe, and thriving.
The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and passionate about animal care. Experience working with livestock is a plus, but we re also open to training someone with a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in agriculture.
Requirements for Livestock Handler:
Passion for working with animals
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to handle livestock
Previous experience working with cattle preferred
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Responsibilities for Livestock Handler:
Feed and water livestock
Monitor the health and well-being of cattle
Assist with breeding and birthing processes
Maintain cleanliness of livestock facilities
Handle and restrain livestock as needed
Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling livestock
