Shop Technician Requirements:
Perform preventative maintenance
Accident damage repair

Ensure work meets safety standards and DOT requirements
Shop Technician Responsibilities:
Conduct routine preventative maintenance and thorough inspections of trailers to ensure safety
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues
Perform necessary repairs
Repair or replace worn components like brakes, drums, bearings, springs, axles, and other chassis parts
Diagnose and repair lighting, wiring, and other electrical components on trailers
Perform welding and fabrication on aluminum and steel
Repair or replace damaged components like flooring, walls, doors, and roofs
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service and repair logs
