Machine Operator Responsibilities:
Operate manufacturing machines, overhead cranes, forklifts, and side loaders
Assist with installing tooling on the machines
Monitor production and verify finished product dimensions
Perform routine inspections and quality checks; record results
Conduct both scheduled and as-needed maintenance on machines and equipment
Operate all material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, hand trucks)
Accurately count and label incoming/outgoing materials
Load/unload materials using large forklifts; store items in the correct locations
Prepare and package orders for shipment, including labeling and bundling
Verify outgoing shipments match bills of lading, invoices, or packing lists
Machine Operator Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
3 6 months of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and training)
Must be at least 18 years old
Able to read tape measures, blueprints, and follow technical instructions
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain through company-provided training)
Comfortable using runout tables, end finishing, and bundling tools
Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
Ability to follow safety protocols and wear all required PPE
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
