Operate and maintain lathes, milling machines, and CNC equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Take precise measurements using tools such as micrometers, gauges, and dial indicators
Set up machines and adjust settings for optimal production
Monitor production and perform quality checks on finished parts
Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Assist with material handling and workflow within the shop
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Requirements for Machinist:
Previous machining experience preferred (manual and/or CNC)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, lifting, repetitive motion)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and be cross-trained in multiple areas
