Essential Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Lead responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with all food safety and quality standards within a production facility. This role plays a critical part in maintaining adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with GMP, SQF, and HACCP food safety programs

• Monitor and enforce all food safety and quality procedures throughout the plant

• Assist with product testing, inspections, and documentation

• Support shipping and receiving quality checks

• Provide supervision and guidance to team members as needed

• Identify and report quality or food safety concerns promptly

• Maintain accurate quality records and support audits and inspections

• Provide leadership coverage when the QC Supervisor is out of town

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food production quality control preferred

• Working knowledge of GMP, SQF, and HACCP standards

• Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce food safety practices

• Good communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work flexible hours based on operational needs
