Are you a detail-driven professional who enjoys hands-on work and staying organized? We re looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team and help keep materials moving smoothly. This role supports incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout the process. Warehouse experience is a plus, and forklift or overhead crane experience is preferred with certification available through employment. Shipping and Receiving Requirements:
Forklift and/or crane operators preferred, Certification with obtained through employment
1 year of warehouse experience preferred
Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (metguard boots, protective eyewear, hard hats, gloves, ear plugs, etc)
Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and loading onto trucks
Operate forklifts and cranes to move materials within the warehouse
Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as needed
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Keep work area clean and organized
Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned
