Responsibilities of a Mechanical Engineer
Design and enhance mechanical systems for agricultural equipment (balers, sprayers, harvesters, etc.)
Create detailed CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to optimize designs
Conduct testing to ensure product performance, safety, and durability
Troubleshoot design and production challenges and implement effective solutions
Support prototyping, validation, and continuous improvement projects
Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and product innovation
Ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards
Maintain accurate technical documentation and revision histories
Requirements for Mechanical Engineer:
1+ year of mechanical engineering experience (ag or manufacturing preferred)
Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
Understanding of manufacturing processes (welding, machining, assembly)
Strong analytical and hands-on skills
Bonus: Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, FEA, or mobile equipment
Familiarity with ISO/ASME standards and root cause analysis
Background in agricultural or heavy equipment design is a plus
