The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing designs, blueprints, and charts for new construction or repair/remodel projects. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various team members.
Construction Project CAD Drafter Requirements:
Proficiency in operating computer-aided drafting (CAD) equipment
Ability to review job scope of work and understand project requirements
Strong communication skills to work closely with project coordinators and estimators
Capability to visit job sites, shoot elevations, and take measurements
Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work in confined spaces
Construction Project CAD Drafter Responsibilities:
Operate CAD equipment to produce designs and blueprints
Coordinate with team members to prioritize duties and communicate progress
Visit job sites to gather necessary information for project drawings
Assist in loading parts and equipment as needed
Attend crew and management meetings to discuss project progress
Collaborate with manufacturing managers to solve design problems
Create detailed scale plans and installation drawings
Assist in refining and completing designs after review meetings
Participate in design review meetings and provide input for improvements
Support Manufacturing draftsperson as needed
Create video presentations for company events showcasing project highlights
