Requirements for Payroll Specialist:
Two years of payroll experience
Familiarity with Quickbooks
Understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws
Microsoft Office and Excel skills and reporting software experience
Responsibilities for Payroll Specialist:
Process multi-state payroll
Entering time cards and processing payroll
Reconciling totals between payroll and time tracking system
Answer employee questions regarding payroll, deductions, tax withholdings
Submit tax payments
Invoice clients and reconcile invoices
