In this role, you will prepare, apply, and inspect high-quality powder coat finishes on metal components in a safe, dynamic production environment.
Requirements for Powder Coat Painter:
Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred
Knowledge of surface preparation, masking, and coating techniques
Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail
Positive attitude, steady pace, and commitment to workplace safety
Responsibilities for Powder Coat Painter:
Prepare parts for coating (cleaning, masking, sanding, racking)
Apply powder coat finishes using manual and automated spray systems
Operate curing ovens and verify proper cure times and temperatures
Monitor coating thickness, inspect finished parts, and perform touch-ups
Perform color changes and maintain coating equipment
