Overview for Shipping Technician:
Are you looking to join a hands on role at a manufacturing facility? We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Technician to join our team. The Shipping Technician will be responsible for storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
Requirements for Shipping Technician:
Forklift and/or crane operators preferred, Certification obtained through employment
CDL a plus
1 year of warehouse experience preferred
Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
Responsibilities for Shipping Technician:
Store materials in designated areas
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
Scan orders for shipment tracking
Operate forklift and/or crane to move materials as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
