A well-established company in the Norfolk area is seeking an experienced Shop Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled individual who is looking for a long-term, full-time position in a professional shop environment.

The Shop Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of trailers. Duties include performing brake jobs, suspension repairs, welding, electrical diagnostics, and general preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities for Shop Technician:

• Perform routine and complex repairs on trailers

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues

• Complete welding and fabrication as needed

• Keep a clean and organized work environment

• Accurately complete work orders and documentation

• Follow all safety and company procedures

Requirements Shop Technician:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a trailer or diesel mechanic

• Proficient in welding, hydraulics, and trailer systems

• Must have your own tools

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Valid driver s license required (CDL preferred but not required)
