Are you a hands-on individual with a passion for fixing things and keeping the road moving? We are looking for a skilled Shop Technician to join our pull-behind trailer repair team. As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various trailer systems to ensure equipment safety, reliability, and DOT compliance.
Requirements for Shop Technician:
Strong skills with hand and power tools
Experience using diagnostic equipment
Welding and carpentry experience
Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Accurate record-keeping skills
Responsibilities for Shop Technician:
Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, suspension, and structural trailer systems
Perform preventative maintenance to keep trailers road-ready
Repair accident damage and complete flooring replacements
Weld and fabricate components as needed
Ensure all work meets safety standards and DOT requirements
Maintain clear, accurate records of repairs and maintenance
Collaborate with teammates to efficiently complete jobs
