Essential PErsonnel is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented candidate to fill a Welder position at our Grand Island location. Candidates must have experience with MIG welding. An ideal candidate should be able to read blueprints, work efficiently on a weekend schedule, and have a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Experience with MIG and pulse welding processes (Robotic welding experience preferred)
Basic understanding of blueprints, welding specifications, and work instructions
Experience using inspection and measuring tools (calipers, weld gauges, tape measures)
Perform MIG and pulse welding on metal components according to specifications
Operate and monitor robotic welding equipment to produce high-quality components
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure parts are welded accurately
Set up welding equipment, make necessary adjustments, and conduct daily maintenance
Inspect completed work using precision tools to ensure quality standards are met
Follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and all safety guidelines
